The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Annual Midnight Screening

It’s that time of year again and we’re thrilled to bring it back! Time to break out the props and costumes for our annual midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

This notorious horror parody, a fast-paced potpourri of camp, sci-fi and rock ‘n’ roll, among other things tracks the exploits of naïve couple Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) after they stumble upon the lair of transvestite Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry). The film, a bizarre musical co-starring Meat Loaf and Richard O’Brien, bombed in its initial release but later gained a cult following at midnight showings.

Remember to come dressed as Brad, Janet, Frankie or your favorite Transylvanian! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

The bar will be open from 10:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. Due to the participatory nature of this event, masks are required unless actively eating or drinking while seated.

PRO TIP: Did you know you can purchase tickets to Orpheum events at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena? They are open 10am to 6pm weekdays and there are no additional fees when you buy in person.

The Orpheum Theatre now offers cashless concessions, a cash-free experience where only card and mobile payments are accepted. This allows for limited direct contact between guests and employees and expedites the purchasing process for all guests. For guests who prefer to pay in cash, a Cash-To-Card option will be available to exchange cash for a loaded Visa card (currently available in increments of $25 and $50). The prepaid Visa cards are available at no extra cost and can be used at all Orpheum concessions and bars. Any remaining balance left on the card can be used anywhere that Visa is accepted worldwide.
