The Wizard of Oz is a 1939 American musical fantasy film starring Judy Garland as Dorothy Gale. When Dorothy is swept away from a farm in Kansas to the magical land of Oz in a tornado she embarks on a quest with her new friends to see the Wizard who can help her return home to Kansas. Widely considered to be one of the greatest films in cinema history, it is the best-known and most commercially successful adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s 1900 children’s book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Because seating is general admission and we expect a large turnout for this event, we highly recommend arriving early so you have plenty of time to visit concessions and find your seats before the movie starts. In addition to regular concessions, we serve Knolla’s Pizza by the slice at our Anniversary Film Series events.
