Tallgrass Film Association welcomes you to the short film competition, TAKE 36! Join us on Sunday, June 26 at 7 PM at The Orpheum for our top film showcase with special VIP Judges.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION: In TAKE 36 we task creatives to conceive, develop, write, shoot, edit, and submit a short film, made in just 36 hours! And just to keep things interesting, we will have some required criteria that must be present in all submitted films! The competition will kick-off on the evening of Friday, June 24, and wrap up 36 hours later on Sunday morning, June 26.

Anyone is welcome to participate! Filmmakers from local middle schools and high schools compete as well as seasoned professionals.

Films will be due by 7 a.m. on Sunday morning and the top ten will be picked by a select team of programmers and screened LIVE in front of an audience. There are several awards up for grabs including cash prizes, selected by our judges.
