Wichita World AIDS Day
The Wichita World AIDS Day Committee is proud to present a free screening of the documentary How to Survive a Plague, chronicling the lives of the members of the Act Up Movement during the AIDS Epidemic in the 80’s and 90’s.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with local Wichita physicians. There will also be an HIV Health Fair focusing on education and awareness about HIV with stands from the World AIDS Day Committee members and other community partners.
It is a night to remember what the AIDS epidemic was, to honor those we’ve lost, and to celebrate how far we’ve come. Red ribbons will be given at the door and all are welcome to join!
