In 2026 Blue October, the Houston, Texas-born, multi-platinum group will begin a year-long celebration honoring the 20th anniversary release of Foiled, the platinum-selling album (2006) that opened the door to the hearts of audiences around the world.
Blue October is led by an undeniably magnetic frontman, Justin Furstenfeld, one of the most powerful stage performers of our time. He’s surrounded by an incredible line up of musicians, led by a masterful drummer brother Jeremy Furstenfeld, the gifted virtuoso and renaissance man, performing arts high school classmate Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, mandolin, piano, vocals), and Motown’s own ‘Bass Sensei’ Matt Noveskey (bass guitar, vocals).
Blue October stands on a reputation of delivering unforgettable, emotionally electrifying roller coaster performances that fans around the world describe as life changing and cathartically uplifting.
For many, Blue October has become a lifeline, their live shows attract those with open hearts seeking “the feels,” some positivity and common ground with fellow audience members turning complete strangers into family.
Blue October has released 12 studio albums and toured relentlessly from their earliest beginnings. They were signed by Republic Records in 1999 and then dropped in 2001. Texas renowned indie label Brando Records jumped at the opportunity to sign Blue October at the end of 2002 while the band simultaneously landed new management with Paul Nugent and Mike Swinford of Rainmaker Artists.
On April 8th, 2003, Blue October released their 3rd album ‘History For Sale,’ featuring their first ever charting single “Calling You.” A song that touches every heart string and is adored by global audiences. This success forced Republic Records to admit they had given up too early and resign Blue October from Brando Records.
This journey rewarded everyone when Blue October recorded and released the masterpiece that is ‘Foiled’ on April 4th, 2006, selling millions of albums and singles around the world.

In 2011, Justin knew it was time to create his own label Up/Down Records, leaving Republic Records taking ownership of his songs, his creative choices and partnering with Paul Nugent and Mike Swinford of Brando Records. Since then, releasing 7 more studio albums with their 13th studio album scheduled for release in 2026.
Through it all Blue October has stayed true to themselves and thrived, performing for audiences around the world. Their music has surpassed over a billion streams, while charting on the US Alternative charts with TWENTY singles. Timeless hits like “Hate Me,” “Into the Ocean,” “Oh My My,” “I Hope You’re Happy,” and so many more.

Blue October is scheduled to release their thirteenth studio album, at the end of their ‘20th Anniversary Foiled World Tour.’
