In August 1964, thousands of fab four fans lined the corner of First & Broadway for their chance to see A Hard Day’s Night premiere at the Orpheum Theatre. We’re thrilled to bring The Beatles film back to the screen 60 years almost to the day it first ran in Wichita when our 2024 Anniversary Film Series continues August 15.
Come for the movie, stay for a show! Local British invasion band, Across the Pond, will keep the celebration going with a set of Beatles classics performed LIVE on stage directly after the movie.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Come early to grab a slice of Knolla’s Pizza at concessions and a featured drink at the bar.
Over two “typical” days in the life of The Beatles, the boys struggle to keep themselves and Sir Paul McCartney’s mischievous grandfather in check while preparing for a live TV performance.
