The Arts Council is hosting a Wichita Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 10, prior to the General Election on November 5. 2024. Learn how 2024 candidates weigh in on arts & culture issues that impact our community!

The arts enhance our quality of life, promote economic development and help build vibrant and connected communities. The arts are a vital part of our city’s future; this forum will focus on government’s role in supporting the arts and humanities. Questions will allow candidates to share their knowledge and level of support for arts and culture in Wichita.

All candidates for KS-4 and Sedgwick County Commission (Districts 2 and 3) have been invited to participate in this forum.

Tom Shine of KMUW will moderate the discussion and League of Women Voters – Wichita Metro will serve as timekeepers.
