The final day of the 2024 Wichita Jazz Festival ends with a bang with The Tierney Sutton Band!

With a recording and touring history spanning over 20 years and 9 CDs, The Tierney Sutton Band is known for their imaginative and groundbreaking treatments of well-known songs and received a Grammy nomination for “Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocals”, the first band ever to receive this honor. The Tierney Sutton Band is comprised of Sutton and instrumental virtuosos Clarence Penn, Trey Henry, and Mitch Forman.

Proceeds from this concert support the Wichita Jazz Festival, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the history and legacy of jazz music.
