Join us on Sunday, March 26 to watch the Take 36 Top 10 Showcase. Films will be judged and critiqued LIVE after the showcase by esteemed guest judges.
The kickoff for the competition will start at 6pm sharp at the Tallgrass Film Center on March 24th. If registration slots are still available (check the Tallgrass Film Association Facebook for updates) you may register day of in person at the kickoff meeting (just show up a little early).
ABOUT THE COMPETITION: In TAKE 36, TFA tasks creatives to conceive, develop, write, shoot, edit, and submit a short film, made in just 36 hours! And just to keep things interesting, they’ll will have some required criteria that must be present in all submitted films! The competition will kick-off on the evening of Friday, March 24, and wrap up 36 hours later on Sunday morning, March 26.
Anyone is welcome to participate! Filmmakers from local middle schools and high schools compete as well as seasoned professionals. They just ask that you be safe and have fun and abide by the rules set forth by Tallgrass Film Association so that everyone stays safe and healthy.
Films will be due by 7 a.m. on Sunday morning and the top ten will be picked by a select team of programmers and screened LIVE in front of an audience at the Top 10 Showcase. There are several awards up for grabs including cash prizes, selected by our judges.
