This special presentation will feature of the stars of the film and music from legendary singer and performer Michael Martin Murphey.
The film tells the story of the song, the cabin and the lawsuit that determined its origins. It has attracted both well-known actors and accomplished musicians. The film was produced by Lone Chimney Films, a not for profit educational film company based out of Kansas, in association with Sperra Studios.
In addition to a live performance by Michael Martin Murphey and the screening of the film, the evening will feature a question and answer session with film stars Buck Taylor, Rance Howard, Mark Mannette, Michael Martin Murphey, Mitch Holthus, Skip Gorman, Darby Hinton, Mathew Greer, Kay Epperson and the director, Ken Spurgeon.
