NAACP Centennial Celebration

Select a view of the stage.

The program will celebrate the rich heritage of the Wichita Branch NAACP. We will celebrate through songs with Special Guests such as the Roberts Brothers and a Centennial Choir. We will also celebrate with a skit, and will honor the Presidents, the members, and the civil rights work such as the creation of the M.E.F.S.E.C. (now named the Lynette Woodard Center) after the 21st Street Riots and the Dockum Sit-In.  There will be a reception from 5-5:45 pm, and the celebration will start at 6 pm.
