In 1930's Austria, a young woman named Maria is failing miserably in her attempts to become a nun.
When the Navy captain Georg Von Trapp writes to the convent asking for a governess that can handle his
seven mischievous children, Maria is given the job. The Captain's wife is dead, and he is often away,
and runs the household as strictly as he does the ships he sails on.
The children are unhappy and resentful of the governesses that their father keeps hiring, and have managed to
run each of them off one by one. When Maria arrives, she is initially met with the same hostility,
but her kindness, understanding, and sense of fun soon draws them to her and brings some much-needed
joy into all their lives--including the Captain's.
Eventually he and Maria find themselves falling in love, even though Georg is already engaged to a Baroness
and Maria is still a postulant. The romance makes them both start questioning the decisions they have made.
Their personal conflicts soon become overshadowed, however, by world events. Austria is about to come under
the control of Germany, and the Captain may soon find himself drafted into the German navy and forced to
fight against his own country.

Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia’s most respected musicians.
The legendary guitarist has a professional career that spans almost five decades and continues to intersect
with some of the finest musicians through the world.
A household name in his native Australia, Tommy has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide.
Tommy’s unique style – he calls it simply “finger style” – is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano,
using all ten fingers. Rather than using a whole band for melody, rhythm, bass, and drum parts,
Tommy plays all that – and more – on one guitar. Guitar legend Chet Atkins was one of the first
to inspire Emmanuel to try this “fingerpicker” style as a child.
Decades later, Atkins himself became one of Emmanuel’s biggest fans.
Emmanuel’s catalogue includes 20 musical recording running the gamut of solos, duets, ensembles, cover tunes,
originals, both electric and acoustic guitar. He has made 3 live performance DVDs, 3 additional instructional DVDs,
and regularly teaches master classes on the road. At 54, performing live is more important to him than ever
and he tours constantly, playing over 300 concerts a year for the last five years.
Guitar players of all levels come to his shows to watch the magic hands of the ‘guitar Wizard of Oz,’
but his appeal goes far beyond musicians.
His live shows are known for their humor, passion, and infectious joy.
The power of his charismatic showmanship will be an enduring part of Emmanuel’s legacy.
Tommy Emmanuel’s message is pure love for the music and his delight in sharing it with the world, one audience at a time.
Frank Vignola Trio is scheduled to open the show.
Frank is one of the most accomplished, multi-dimensional players walking the planet today.
Monster player, composer and improviser, Frank plays proficiently in every genre, from jazz to bluegrass,
and works with everyone and their brother.
Frank’s pedigree is a mile long, but a quick Google will illustrate why he is considered on of the best on the planet.
… a night of ‘spooktacular’ music!

Two years after leaving a technical writing job in Canada, Sara Gruen moved to the United States and
decided to try her hand at writing fiction. Gruen's first two novels, Riding Lessons and Flying Changes,
have sold several hundred thousands of copies; "Riding Lessons" was a best seller.
Sara Gruen’s third novel, Water for Elephants has become one of the most beloved and bestselling novels
of our time. Readers fell in love with Water for Elephants and its story of Jacob,
a young man tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth,
and Rosie, the untrainable elephant. This instant #1 New York Times bestseller is now available in
44 languages and has over 3 million copies in print worldwide. The movie version is in the works, starring
Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, and Robert Pattinson (2011 release).
Gruen’s fourth novel, Ape House, is her newest piece and is described as ‘a riveting, funny, compassionate,
and finally, a deeply moving new novel that secures Sara Gruen’s place as a master storyteller

If you made a list of performers who have sold more than 53 million records, won multiple Grammys for Best male Vocalist
and countless other honors, earned a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and sold out arenas world wide,
Michael Bolton would be on that list.
If you tallied all the artists who’ve sung with Luciano Pavarotti and Ray Charles, written songs with Bob Dylan,
Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga, penned hits for Barbra Streisand and KISS, played guitar with B.B. King and his
music recorded by hip-hop superstar Kanye West (featuring megastar Jay-Z),
Michael Bolton would be the only name on that list.
Michael has a brand new studio record to be released on May 4, 2010 on Motown Records
featuring collaborations with NEYO and LADY GAGA.

Looking back now, it’s difficult to believe that A Rocket To Moon all started in Nick
Santino’s bedroom three years ago when he harmlessly posted a few songs on the
Internet. However what began as an electro-tinged sonic experiment quickly
snowballed into a full-fledged band that’s toured with acts like 3OH!3 and Cobra
Starship, played festivals like the Vans Warped Tour and Bamboozle and gained
fans all over the world.
“I never actually intended for A Rocket To The Moon to get
this far,” Santino admits, adding he couldn’t be more thrilled about the current
incarnation of the band. “I always wanted to take it to the next level and put a
couple of guys in the act instead of having all the focus on me, so after Bamboozle
’08 we started performing as a full band and right now the sound is perfect.”
The current incarnation of A Rocket To The Moon—Santino, guitarist Justin
Richards, bassist Eric Halvorsen and former The Receiving End Of Sirens
drummer Andrew Cook—have put their collective experiences into the band’s
full-length debut On Your Side, an instantly infectious collection of upbeat pop
music that was produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Boys Like Girls).
Lights Over Paris shine brilliantly on their Turn Off The Lights EP. In fact, chances are, you’ve never seen or
heard anything like this Los Angeles six-piece. The band seamlessly weaves anthemic rock ‘n’ roll hooks
with pulsating dance rhythms and a little bit of hip hop thrown in for good measure.
Their first single “Turn Off the Lights,” produced by Kevin Rudolf [Lil Wayne, Cobra Starship, Lifehouse],
is vibrantly vivacious, shifting from a danceable verse into a fist-pumping refrain. Meanwhile, “Medicine” is powerful
pop that floats on the wings of soaring synths and a raw guitar edge. Lights Over Paris never fail to burn brightly.
Vocalist Robb “TaLLLLL” University describes their one-of-a-kind sonic movement. “Each song is completely
different because they’re all amplifications of our diverse personalities. We play what we want,
and the music is always going to be fresh and new.”
The band—Robb, Will Pepper (Keys), Devin Bronson (Guitar), Mike Torres (Bass), Dave Gentry (Drums) and
Shiny (DJ)—could be sonic superheroes. From Robb’s larger than life pipes to Will Pepper’s
keyboard sorcery, each element makes for evolutionary dance rock. They’ve even got their very own
mascot TaLL Mysterio; you definitely haven’t seen that before…Robb goes on, “No two tracks are alike.
You go from synths to no synths to an anthem to a club track.”
The first single, “Turn Off Lights,” exemplifies their inimitable style. With production by
mega-hot producer and artist Kevin Rudolf, it’s got the spark to set off a dance floor or a stadium.
The song also immediately began lighting up the charts as soon as it went to radio. “Turn Off the Lights”
is currently in rotation on numerous Top40 stations across the country, and it’s been
downloaded over 30,000 times. The music video, by RockHard Films [Lady Gaga],
premiered on Yahoo Music’s highly trafficked home page on June 3, 2010, and it’s
been viewed almost 1,000,000 times on YouTube. The band was also the first in history to be
featured on Pandora with only Digital Distribution. Further tightening the sound,
Tom and Chris Lord-Alge [blink-182, Sum 41] and Serban Ghenea [Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Brittney Spears]
also mixed this first EP. “Turn Off the Lights” grabbed everyone’s attention from the get-go.
Alex, Andre and Forrest Burnham have been performing together for seven years, which is pretty remarkable
because the three brothers from Vermont are, respectively, just 18, 16 and 14.
Early on Burnham took over their family living room and converted it into a jam space where they honed their
skills playing for four to five hours a day. “When we plug in and start playing, we lose all sense of time.”
After almost five years of performing live, a friend hooked them up with NY based producers, Andy Marvel and
Freddy Shehadi, who set-up several showcases with various major record labels.
Apparently, the record execs saw what everyone else was seeing; a young band oozing with talent
and a front man with an unmistakable and powerful voice. With two major record deals on the table,
the boys did one final showcase in New York for Island Def Jam chairman and CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid.
The veteran record exec wouldn’t let the band leave the room until he signed them.
High-spirited and confident, Forrest fronts the band as vocalist, with older siblings Alex on guitar and
Andre playing bass and keyboards.
Burnham has crafted a debut album filled with catchy rock/pop anthems.
It features songs like Tedder’s “Catch Me If You Can,” the Espionage-produced “Look Like Her”
(“I have been waiting all my life/for someone to come and put things right”), “Thank You,” a
collaboration with producer/songwriter Kennedy, and the power ballad by Burnham
that helped get them signed, “Slow Dance.”

THEY'RE HERE.
While living an an average family house in a pleasant neighborhood, the youngest daughter of the Freeling family, Carol Anne, seems to be connecting with the supernatural through a dead channel on the television. It is not for long when the mysterious beings enter the house's walls. At first seeming like harmless ghosts, they play tricks and amuse the family, but they take a nasty turn- they horrify the family to death with angry trees and murderous dolls, and finally abduct Carol Anne into her bedroom closet, which seems like the entrance to the other side.

Few husband-wife musical duos provide audiences with the complete entertainment package that
Stacey Earle & Mark Stuart dish out in a live performance. Armed with clever acoustic guitar interplay,
autobiographical songwriting, lovely harmonies, and humorous storytelling this couple captivates your
attention from the first moment they are onstage. Based out of Tennessee, Earle and Stuart draw from blues, pop,
country, rock, and more in their heartfelt music. The years of touring the folk/Americana circuit
(playing 170 concerts a year) have given them a knack for reaching out to the audience
in an intimate “come in to my living room” fashion.
Some of you here in the Wichita area remember Stacey Earle from when she opened for Joan Baez.
The audience went wild for her then, and you will go wild for these two now.
It's country with a folk twist, or folk with a country twist, but any way you twist it it's

Mickey learned to play piano at an early age but did not achieve the success like his cousin Jerry Lee until later.
He moved to Houston, Texas to work construction but at night he played in the local club scene.
He recorded his first song in Memphis for Dot Records and later performed as a singer and pianist in
cities throughout the south. Eventually, his career path returned him to the Pasadena area where he began
performing at the Nesadel Club and quickly developed into one of the city's most popular acts.
In 1971 along with a business partner he opened Gilley's.
The club would grow and one day be known as the world's largest honky-tonk.
It was here that Mickey started experiencing his first success when he released "Room Full of Roses".
By the mid-seventies his songs were hitting the country charts with regularity.
As the eighties neared, Gilley's was growing bigger with every day.
Country music's biggest stars used the club as a launching pad.
A television show was developed which only added to the phenomenon.
But it was when Esquire Magazine caught wind of the excitement and featured an article
called "The Ballad of the Urban Cowboy" that caused Gilley's to develop into an urban cowboy craze.
With the club rising in popularity so did Mickey's.
He released hit after hit from "City Lights", I Overlooked an Orchid", and "Don't the Girls All
Get Prettier at Closing Time"; all reaching number one on the Billboard country Charts.
People started to take notice of the phenomenon on a national level.
Paramount decided to make a movie about the craze and cast John Travolta and Debrah Winger to play the parts.
The Movie was a success and Gilley's flourished.
The soundtrack that featured many popular artists including a huge hit by Mickey, "Stand By Me",
went platinum and Mickey became a household name.

Santa Claus is comming to the Orhpeum Theatre!
Bring the family and tell Santa what you want for Christmas!
And capture the spirit of Christmas with this timeless classic!
At the Macy's Department Store Thanksgiving Day parade, the actor playing Santa is discovered to be drunk by a whiskered old man. Doris Walker, the no nonsense special events director, persuades the old man to take his place. The old man proves to be a sensation and is quickly recruited to be the store Santa at the main Macy's outlet.
While he is successful, Ms. Walker learns that he calls himself Kris Kringle and he claims to be the actual Santa Claus. Despite reassurances by Kringle's doctor that he is harmless, Doris still has misgivings, especially when she has cynically trained herself, and especially her daughter, Susan, to reject all notions of belief and fantasy. And yet, people, especially Susan, begin to notice there is something special about Kris and his determination to advance the true spirit of Christmas amidst the rampant commercialism around him and succeeding in improbable ways.
When a raucous conflict with the store's cruelly incompetent psychologist erupts, Kris finds himself held at Bellevue where, in despair, he deliberates fails a mental examination to ensure his commitment. All seems lost until Doris' friend, Fred Gaily, reassure Kris of his worth and agrees to represent him in the fight to secure his release. To achieve that, Fred arranges a formal hearing in which he argues that Kris is sane because he is in fact Santa Claus. What ensues is a bizarre hearing in which people's beliefs are reexamined and put to the test, but even so, it's going to take a miracle for Kris to win.
